Tucked away in the middle of the Wendell Niepagen grounds, you will find a little building housing a most unusual gift shop… “The Cottage”! It’s a cute little space that is chocked full of gift-giving ideas. Inside you will find Barn® candles, Patience Brewster®, Portal® and Laughing Elephant® greeting cards, mouth-watering fudge in a variety of flavors from Gigi’s Fudge Factory®, an excellent assortment of specialized products that are perfect for gifting and some of the most unique home décor you’ll find anywhere. We even feature a large selection of penny candy, just like you would have found in candy stores of the past. We are always rotating the store’s stock, replenishing shelves with all sorts of new and exciting items that are guaranteed to grab your attention. So, our advice is to stop in often at The Cottage!

• Candles– Come take a whiff of the Almond Biscotti, Lemon Chiffon or Maple Syrup scents and you’ll be all about burning candles, regardless of the season.

• Jewelry– These items are handcrafted in Batavia, Illinois by Nancy Neal and feature some whimsical designs just for Spring.

• Socks– Or “footies”, if you prefer… and they’re crafted in Indiana. We’ve got styles featuring flamingos, panda bears and cardinals—just to name three of the many fanciful designs.

• Baskets– These unique, handmade baskets are crafted by P.J.®…  an artisan business just a little ways up the road. They are great gifts for any special occasion. Be sure to check out the lunch totes!
